Frequently Asked Questions
How can I try a free class?
Review the class schedule and come to gym 15 minutes before class begins. Our coaches will help to wrap your hands and tell you the basics about boxing technique and the class structure.
Do you offer drop-in classes?
No. We truly value the strong exclusive community we’re building here, which is why we currently offer membership-only access. While we know that doesn’t work for everyone, it’s part of what makes our space unique.
How many classes can I take per week?
Once you are part of the Rhoads Fitness community, you can take as many classes as you would like. The structure of the schedule allows you to make time for your fitness goals.
Is there live sparring in class?
Not regularly. Each class is designed to give you a great workout and time in boxing gloves working on a heavy bag or partner drills with mitts. If you are interested in taking boxing to the next level, talk with one of our coaches and explore personal training as an option.
How do I become part of the Rhoads Fitness Community?
After your first free class, talk with a coach about joining our gym. With the enrollment fee, we include the first month, a set of wraps, gloves, and one personal training session to get you started on your fitness journey.
How long are classes and how often are the offered?
Classes are one hour and are offered 6 days a week, multiple times per day. Review the class schedule for details.
Do you offer kids classes?
Absolutely! Kids classes are offered four days a week. Our coaches help your child work hard and learn proper technique. Our students leave the gym feeling confident and strong.
Is ESA accepted?
Yes! We are a verified vendor on class wallet.
What is the structure of the class?
Classes are designed so that each time you get to box on a heavy bag while getting a great workout. A typical class has a warm-up, strength circuit and plenty of time boxing. You are able to go at your own pace and coaches will have modifications ready if you need them. For more details, explore the classes page of the website.
